Condominium notices
How the administration publishes condominium notices, how they reach residents, the difference between an informational notice and an urgent one, and where to check the history.
The notices board replaces the sign at the gate and the message group nobody can find afterwards. It is the administration's official channel with residents: water outages, maintenance work, meeting announcements, payment reminders and any other condominium communication are posted there. Each notice reaches residents as a notification and is stored in the app, available to check at any time.
This guide covers both sides: how the administration publishes and what you receive as a resident.
How the administration publishes a notice
- The administration opens the notices section from their panel and taps new notice.
- They write the title and the message: what is going to happen, what day, at what time, and what each resident should do, if anything.
- They choose the notice type: informational or urgent.
- If the notice has a specific date (for example, Friday's water outage), they enter it so the validity is clear.
- They publish. The notice goes out to the condominium's residents and reaches them as a notification.
A good notice answers three questions in a few lines: what is going to happen, from when until when, and whether the resident has to do anything. Notices that only say there will be an improvement, with no date or schedule, generate more questions to the guard and the administration than the ones that are never published.
Informational or urgent
The administration marks each notice with a level:
- Informational. Routine communications: reminders, announcements of scheduled work, meeting calls. They arrive as a notification and stay on the board.
- Urgent. For what needs immediate attention: an unscheduled outage, an incident in progress, a last-minute change. They are highlighted in the app so they are seen first.
The urgency level is for what is truly urgent. If everything gets marked urgent, before long nothing is, and residents stop telling apart what actually requires action.
What the resident receives
As a resident, you do not have to do anything to receive notices: your account is already associated with your unit and the condominium's notices reach you on their own.
- Each new notice arrives as a notification on your phone. Accept the app's notifications when it asks for them, because they are the notice itself, not just a reminder.
- The notices section keeps the full history. When you want to confirm the exact time of the water outage or the date of the owners' meeting, it is right there, with no digging through a chat.
- Urgent notices appear highlighted so they do not go unnoticed.
- If a notice calls for a reply or a sign-up (confirming attendance, voting on something), the notice itself takes you where you need to go, for example to a survey.
Best practices for the administration
- Publish ahead of time. A scheduled outage is announced days in advance, not the same morning.
- One topic, one notice. If there are two different outages, two notices, so each keeps its own date.
- Avoid duplicating the channel: if it is on the board, there is no need to forward it by hand to every message group; invite residents to check the app.
- Close the loop. When a job finishes or an incident is resolved, a closing notice avoids unnecessary questions.
- Use the channels with good aim: for communication meant for everyone, the notices board; for what concerns one unit in particular, the chat with the administration.
Frequently asked questions
How do I find out about a new notice? You get a notification on your phone and the notice is stored in the notices section of the app.
Can I post notices as a resident? The board is the administration's channel. If something concerns the whole condominium, raise it on the chat or through a PQRS.
Do notices get deleted? They stay in the history. The administration can archive old ones, but the record does not disappear.
I am not getting notifications, what should I check? That the app's notifications are allowed on your phone and that you are signed in with your unit's account. If they still do not arrive, write to your administration.
