1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing this website (armorpass.com) or using the ArmorPass service, you accept these terms of use. If you do not agree, you must not use the site or the service.
2. Service description
ArmorPass is a SaaS QR-code access control service designed for residential communities, schools, and companies. It allows generating access codes for visitors, verifying them at reception, notifying residents or administrators, and keeping a log of entries and exits, along with complementary features (notices, common area reservations, surveys, requests/complaints, payment receipts, among others).
3. Accounts and access
- The ArmorPass service is contracted per administration (residential community, school, or company). Residents, guards, and end users access under accounts provided or managed by that administration.
- You are responsible for keeping your access credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk.
4. Acceptable use
When using the site or the service, you agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data belonging to others.
- Generate fraudulent QR codes or access passes, or impersonate someone else's identity.
- Interfere with the normal operation of the site or the service (for example, through denial-of-service attacks, aggressive scraping, or unauthorized reverse engineering).
- Upload illegal, defamatory content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
5. Intellectual property
The website, the ArmorPass service software, the brand, the logo, and all associated content (text, design, code, images) are owned by ArmorPass or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you any ownership rights over such content; only a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use it is granted, in accordance with the applicable service agreement.
6. Data generated through use of the service
Data entered by the contracting administration and its users (residents, students, employees, visitors) remains the property of that administration. ArmorPass processes it solely to provide the contracted service, as described in the privacy policy.
7. Service availability
We strive to keep the service continuously available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance or unplanned interruptions may occur. Where possible, we will provide reasonable advance notice of maintenance that may affect the service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ArmorPass shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the site or the service, including data loss, loss of revenue, or business interruption. The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties beyond those the law recognizes as non-waivable.
Nothing in these terms limits ArmorPass's liability for willful misconduct, gross negligence, or in cases where applicable law does not permit such limitation.
9. Third parties and external links
This site may contain links to third-party sites (for example, social media or the service's access portal). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the site or the service in the event of a breach of these terms, without prejudice to what is agreed in the service agreement in effect between ArmorPass and the contracting administration, which prevails over these general terms in case of conflict for customers with a signed contract.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, without prejudice to consumer protection or public order rules that may apply in the country where the user resides (Mexico, Colombia, and other markets where ArmorPass operates).
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document. Continued use of the site or the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
